Richard Jennings

Richard is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and has a commercial career spanning over 30 years.

He is highly experienced and commercially astute leader with a proven track record in executing high growth strategies and identifying management buy-and-build opportunities. He has worked with senior boards and divisions globally and has an in-depth experience of setting up businesses in new markets and restructuring fast moving companies in the UK, US, and Emerging Markets with 8 years in India.

Recently he was instrumental in growing a Tier F1 manufacturer’s sales from under £3m to £6m in 3 years whilst navigating lockdown and material F1 rule changes. Achieved £600K cash injection via R&D claims and set up an apprentice scheme. He also advised on potential sale and third-party investment, leading the efforts in preparing information pack, financial forecasts, investor presentations and legal affairs.

Prior to this as MD and CFO of a UK ISP, he grew the business from £8M to £200M in 5 years through a strategy of organic and targeted M&A successfully securing a Sunday Times Tech 100 award in 2015.

Richard has experience with SME’s and start-ups and has helped a number of Innovation backed business which were seeking funding and commercial input.

He is very experienced in financial modelling and forecasting, often presenting to PE and HNW investors as well as intuitional debt. His experience in M&A provide Richard with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
