From guiding you on how to develop a pipeline and structure conversations, to personal positioning, LinkedIn activity and ongoing content, the focus is on practical support that helps you stay visible and commercially effective.

This includes regular training, content support and one-to-one guidance when needed.

You remain in control of winning and building your client relationships but you’re not expected to figure this out alone!

It's approaching a year since I joined FD4, so it's an appropriate time to reflect on my experience and the benefits of being part of the organisation.
The monthly meeting of FDs is valuable, a sharing of current opportunities and challenges, with a social side too. Despite a mix of ages and sector backgrounds, there's plenty of commonality to discuss, and we're supported by aligned sales consultants and marketers to help fill skill gaps. FD4 also invites companies offering relevant services to present to members by way of introduction.
The FD4 relationship has brought me, via direct introduction, to a Fractional FD position within an Athleisure E-commerce firm.
I have been a member of FD4 since February 2016, and a fractional CFO / FD for more than fifteen years. I've also been a member of other groups, and what I like about FD4 is its collegiate nature. We're a group of qualified accountants with huge experience across a wide range of industries, so we've seen a lot of stuff.
The members are there for each other, happy to share experience, to answer questions, to act as a kind of hive mind and, importantly, to help with the challenge of 'selling'. They are good friends.
There's no doubt I have won more work as a result of being part of FD4, and been passed good clients too.

I joined FD4 in November 2017 after being a solo Portfolio FD for about a year. I was attracted by the time saving it offered, organised monthly networking in the Thames Valley and Oxford, plus good marketing materials and presentations, allowing me to focus on my clients.
Over eight or nine years I've enjoyed helping my clients grow, raise finance and exit, keeping them long-term so new client acquisition hasn't been a priority. Using the FD4 brand and materials has been a huge time saver, backed by the support and professional rigour of like-minded professionals.
