Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa in the 1990s and moved to the UK in 2000. He held positions as Financial Controller in a number of blue chip companies including Spar Supermarkets.
Richard subsequently founded “Just Sheepskin” and successfully led and built this company from scratch, establishing the brand and supplying blue chip retailers (including John Lewis, House of Fraser, Next and Selfridges). Just Sheepskin grew into a successful cash generating company and was approached by multiple companies for acquisition purposes. After growing the company over a 10 year period, Richard sold Just Sheepskin to a large US fashion accessory company. This experience has given Richard first hand knowledge to help ambitious SME owners successfully build, grow and sell a company.
More recently Richard has applied his all round business experience as a Finance Director in the SME sector.
