Paul Goodman

After a very successful decade as a film and TV producer, Paul switched to finance.

He qualified as an ACA with Grant Thornton in 2009. In the next 15 years, Paul added financial and commercial experience to the communication and negotiation skills that he learned working in the media!

Paul has led Finance in sectors including restaurants, leisure and hospitality; e-commerce; events; fashion; travel; and of course, media and tech.

He has supported owner-managed and PE-backed businesses, and specialises in improving engagement of SME finance teams, their colleagues and stakeholders. He has designed and led systems implementations and transformational change management programs.

Paul is a strategic thinker with experience in M&A and post-acquisition integrations. As a finance leader he has delivered revenue growth and improved profit margins through operational efficiencies and smarter ways of doing things.

Paul blends a hands-on commitment with a sharp strategic and commercial mindset, always focused on helping business owners achieve their goals. The breadth of his experience enables him to bring many transferable skills to the table and apply principles that have succeeded in a range of situations.
