Holds a Business Degree and then attained CIMA membership (and latterly Institute Fellowship) whilst at Mobil Oil, followed by 7 years in the fashion retail sector at Laura Ashley and Burton Group/Arcadia, finally as Head of Finance of the JV with Littlewoods established to promote & fulfil the e-commerce channel for the Brands.
Spent almost 20 years as CFO and then COO at stationery brand Paperchase under multiple ownerships including an MBO, before working as MD of Wimbledon Brewery, MD of M&A and Integration for Coffeesmiths (an international chain of independently branded cafes) and CFO of Medina Dairy overseeing a refinancing and the CMA notified Merger with Freshways.
Also held positions as a Non Executive Director of Zone 3 (a Triathlon Brand) and The Bentall Centre Traders Association, Non Executive of EnquiryBot (a Technology start up) and Interim CFO of Now Furniture in 2023, as well as business consultant to a number of SMEs & Start-ups.
In addition, serves as a Trustee and Treasurer of the Stationers’ Foundation and as President of Malden Wanderers Cricket Club.
