Richard Taylor

Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London and has over 30 years of experience working with publicly quoted multi-national organisations and SMEs in UK, Europe and Australia.

After qualification, he worked in Australia for Price Waterhouse, OCBC Bank and Lendlease before returning to the UK with Lendlease to manage a portfolio of businesses in the European property sector. He then moved into the aerospace and defence sector, working in a variety of FD/CFO roles with VT Group, Babcock International Group and most recently Leonardo Helicopters.

In addition to his background in large international corporates, Richard has worked with small & medium size businesses in a portfolio role with The CFO Centre. His experience encompasses business strategy and planning, acquisitions and integrations, capital raising, joint ventures, growth and rationalisation, change management and transformation, long term contracting and B2B services. A qualified executive coach, Richard has built strong and effective finance teams and has supported business owners in developing their leadership teams and strategic goals.
